Beautiful gardens, extraordinary wildlife and natural beauty beyond compare are all a part of this once-in-a-lifetime African adventure led by Jason Reeves, curator of the UT Gardens in Jackson, Tennessee, and me. Jason and I have carefully curated a trip that will take you across South Africa, visiting spectacular gardens, enjoying beautiful estates and wineries, and offering our first taste of Africa’s wild side. Highlights will include Beechwood Gardens, the Mandela House, Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens, city of Pretoria, Pilansberg Game Reserve, Cape Town, Kirstenbosch Gardens, Stellenberg Gardens, Hout Bay with Seal Island Cruise, Cape Point, Table Mountain, Vergelegen Estate and Winery, Old Nectar Gardens, the Delair Graff Estate, and much, much more!
Continuing to Botswana and Victoria Falls, we will arrive at Chobe National Park, where a river cruise will find us observing the hippos in their natural environment. A full day game drive in Chobe National Park will get us up close and personal with some of Africa’s most iconic animals, including lions, elephants, hyena, and more! A daytrip to Victoria Falls will give us plenty of time to stand in awe of one of the seven natural wonders of the world!
