Gardens & Treasures of Sicily

Our final tour to Sicily for the foreseeable future, as we take a break to offer some other exciting spring destinations in the coming years! If you’ve been wanting–and waiting–to join us in Sicily, now is the time! My colleague, Charles Yurgalevitch, and I have planned an extended itinerary that will allow us to cover more of the island in one tour than we ever have before. Flying into and out of Catania, we will travel from Ortigia in Siracusa, to Marsala, Palermo, Taormina, and finally back to Catania for our departure. In between, we’ll visit all of our favorite places that we’ve discovered over the past 5 years, including the ancient mosaics at the Villa Romana del Casale, the magnificent temples at Agrigento’s Valley of the Temples, the island and ancient settlement of Mozia, the temple and amphitheater at Segesta, and much more. We’ll also include several of our favorite public and private gardens, food galore, wine tastings, and by extending our typical tour by two additional days, we’re giving ourselves and the group time to experience the wonders of Mount Etna! We are still finalizing some of the details, but this is going to be the most complete tour of the island that we have ever done, so again, if you’ve been waiting, don’t miss this one!
